Definitional LLC is the parent company for a small group of independent projects. We are operators first: most of what we hold, we built. We take an idea from the first prototype through to a working product with real users, and we keep running it afterward.
We are not a fund and we do not manage outside money. Every project is financed from the company's own capital, which means we can take the time a problem actually requires instead of the time a fundraising cycle allows.
Our focus is on health, measurement, and the software that connects the two — tools that take something people can already feel and make it precise enough to act on. We are drawn to areas where the underlying science is settled but the consumer software is not.
